Info History Operational History Technical Data After successful Orzel class submarines, KMW decided to built Orzel mod. class submarines. They were very similar to their prototypes, only with slightly changes. Order was placed in French yards because of political reasons. 'Double hull' type. The absence of a medium calibre gun and heavy AA armament were remarkable for the time. Work on both vessels was suspended on 22.IV.1939, and the hulls were destroyed on the slipways by Germans. Further four boats were going to be built in Gdynia.
